  1. that’s not considered a negligence or malpractice. nurses have a time to administer the drugs 1 hour before up to 1 hour after the scheduled time. they can only be liable if they gave the wrong medication or they gave the wrong dosage…

    I agree that drugs could be administered an hour before or an hour later.

    But.. if the drug was given every twelve hours, let’s say, and the actual order was every eight hours, then that’s a medication error.
