- Is this Malpractice?
Sushi asked:
Ok, so it all started on August 16. My family and I got inot a carcrash which left my mom with her left leg broken. The first thing the doctors did was put on an external fixature, then a cast and then a brace. Now 3 months have gone by and the doctors find that there is a 10 degree deviation in her bone. In other words, it's crooked. They said that they would have to re break it and put it into another fixature. But we are speculating where it all went wrong. We think it was when my mom went to have the brace put on and the doctor there said that the instructions where confusing and he just guessed what brace to put on my mom. Now we have the crooked leg problem. I'm just wondering if this is malpractice and what we should do.

- What do you need to do to sue someone for medical malpractice?
CaptIshara asked:
My grandmother just passed away from a massive stroke after having a tummy tuck done two days previous. They sent her home with a catheter still in and my grandfather was giving her blood thinners a day after the surgery she was still bleeding from the incision. We think that there was medical malpractice in this but we have no idea where to start to figure out if there really is a case or not. Please give us some idea on where to start and how to really know if there is a case to pursue. Thank you.
